Wednesday, April 19 was the last day for Rosario's Pizza, according to a post on Facebook.

The decision to close came after owner Salvatore Ruggeri died in November.

The pizza shop opened in 1972 on Route 130.

“After 50 years of serving the Bordentown community Rosario’s Pizza will be closing its doors. We want to thank you for all your patronage and love and support through the years,” the Facebook post said.  “Sal’s legacy will always be remembered and this community was an integral part of our family and we appreciate all of you.”
